Moving the battle to countries supporting dictatorships

Countries who support dictatorships fight people living outside their own lands, insuring that they, as supportive countries, stay safe. Hence, it might not concern them much the material cost for such support, as long as they remain stable. As long as they are waging a war on lands other than theirs, they will not be affected. Also, their people will not feel discontent. So, in some cases, moving the battle to the land of these countries is the strategy to be adopted.

The above can be done through launching the “non-violence war” within these countries as a way to object to their support to dictatorships’ regimes. The main idea here is to perform the “non- violence operations” inside the supportive countries.
The main purpose for these non-violence operations is:
  • Confuse these countries and force them to turn their attention to their internal status.
  • Agitate popular discontent inside these countries towards their foreign policies.
  • Break up the internal front and provoke disagreements between them about which sides the state should take.
  • Give the state a chance to correct its course.
Examples of what can be done in this regard*:
  • Occupy buildings of particular significance, or arrange sit-ins in vital places, or declare a challenge in the streets by drawing logos which displays governments as being supportive to dictatorships and fascism.
  • Send popular delegations of prominent figures,of those who believe in and defend freedom, from different countriesincluding artists, politicians, media persons, intellectuals, writers, and civil society representatives, to meet with state officials to discuss with them the use of what they are doing. Big media coverage should be provided for such events, whether government accepts to receive them or not, to put them in a critical situation.
  • Communicate with popular and opposition political parties inside these countries, and persuade them to make use of the former event to escalate the internal pressure on the state. The state is fighting a war against people’s rise up for independence and freedom, which is unacceptable by most of the opposition popular powers in many countries.

The important thing is to open a front within these countries, waging a “non-violence war” through a package of effective tactics, bearing in mind that these operations should hold the following traits:
  • Density and continuity,
  • Ability to escalate,
  • While retaining a peaceful and civilized spirit, and gaining the support of these countries’ people, and their resentment to their regimes not to the people rising up for freedom.

This strategy, moving the battle, requires persistence on the peaceful and civilized spirit of its actions. Not performing its tactics correctly might turn the people of the supportive countries against resistance and change movements, and make them believe what is promoted about them of being terroristor some kind of a foreign conspiracy to break up countries.
It is therefore important to presentit in a conscious and mature way, and implement it in an elegant manner to reflect the noble messages it holds. Then address the people to support these demands of freedom and justice. This should also result in creating an internal dialogue between the state of the supportive countries and their people concerning their foreign policy.
As for the message this strategy holds to the supportive regimes, that the world is giving birth to a new era, where the will of the people not the governments will determine the future. Drawing their attention to not to miss the chance to catch up with this era by insisting on supporting current dictatorships. In addition, it aims to deliver a message that keeping their current stand will result in escalating the situation and moving “non-violence war”operations to their lands, intensively.
These operations can be carried out by a coalition of people in different parts of the world, and it is significant here to mention the importance to broadcast them by providing the needed media coverage,so that other countries supporting dictatorships will learn a lesson from it.
Calling for freedom and justice is not only the duty of people who are resisting tyranny, but also of others around the world who believes in this just cause! You can support them by implementing this strategy and send it to them as “Gifts of change”!
