O Human...By My Soul and My Blood I Defend You!

I’m a Human….I support the human being; this is my duty towards my race. I even support the animal and provide him with my help if he is oppressed by another! I wonder does helping the oppressed require searching his ID card for the “Religion Column”?! Or to search for his “Thought”?! Or is “Injustice” “Darkness”?! I wonder will it be possible in the “Planet of Change” to fight every “Unjust Behavior”? To hold the oppressed hand without looking for a “Cross” in it or delve into his forehead for the “Mark of Prostration”?! Enough for us that it is a trembling hand from flesh and blood, a hand we want to calm down and restand it is enough for us that it is a panicked face that we want to pacify and make it smile!!

How to Besiege Violence

In this article our subject will be how to deal with “Violence” that may be generated in the “Path of Change”. The point here is not the repressive forces violence, but the violence that has crept into the change practices, to label the project of change with a violent image.

The Infrastructure of the Movement of Change

What do we mean by Infrastructure?

As this term was used in many specialties and sciences(1we decided to use it also in the “Sciences of Change” to indicate the fixtures, services and leverages underlying the movement and the construction of change, they are the preparations that might not be touched by the most activists, political and social actors, and are not included in the “Direct Act of Change”. Included in this framework the intellectual, training, media, economic and project fixtures for the change movement, which are all preparations prior to the direct action and pave the way to it.

Partial Successes

Sometimes the “Resistance” thinks that it can shorten the “Stages of Conflict” while it is still at the beginning of the “Battle of Change”, so it calls for the use of methods based on a large audience base, while it is still isolated from the masses, or have not received adequate support from them yet. One example is the “Resistance” call for “Civil Disobedience” at the beginning of its establishment.

The Art of Building Bridges

Let’s assume that a group of people are standing on the bank of a river and want to move to the other side, butcannot find a means of transport, and cannot cross it by swimming sincethe river well-known for its “Deadly Myths”. While everyoneis standingby the river not knowing what to do, one of them got up and jumped in the river! Spectators thought that he is going to be a prey for death! However,he continued to swim until he reached the other shore safely. After what he did, other people were encouraged to do the same, and thus he managed tobuild a bridge of determination and break the fear. Furthermore, others after him were able to end this stage in order to begin the next one after crossing the river.
